So we all do stupid things...

Some of us just more frequently and on a grander scale. On March 31st I did something pretty stupid. To cut a long story short, there was a cab driver who became pretty smitten with me. He drove me to my location (a store) and insisted on waiting for me (not letting me pay when I left to go into the store) until I returned and told me he would give me a ride home. I told him I didn’t have enough cash to pay for a cab back and he said not to worry about it. After a lot of coaxing I got back in the cab (probably my first big mistake!). Well, he not only gave me a free ride down to my location but he gave me a free ride back up to my apartment (luckily the one smart thing I did was have him drop me off at a location other than my apartment). Well, he insisted that he was in love with me and I told him that I was too young for him…but he asked for my phone number and email anyway and (wait for it) I WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO GIVE THEM TO HIM. I don’t know what got into me…maybe I felt guilty about the free ($50 combined) cab rides…maybe it was temporary insanity…maybe it was because I had told him I was Mormon and didn’t want to turn him off to the church by offending him…who knows what possessed me to do it. Well, despite the fact that I don’t return his emails, he has been emailing me since then. It’s really kind of started to freak me out actually. Should I be worried? I just got another email today. Some highlights are below:

I hope everything is ok

u think age is a problem for love.
I never get a chance in my life to love wonderful girl like you. U don't want to try since you have no one in your life. What u think
maybe it works. Since our religion are so close.
What u loose for trying.
Anyway my invitation still open.
My help and my heart too.
I felt like you were a gift from god.
Just try, you can break any time you want and you have the excuse. One dinner and so on. I have a lot in my heart that I want to give. Give it to some one who
deserve it.

Hi-larious! Hy-sterical! I, personally, am glad you gave him your email address so that I could read this post. Oh, Kez, that is seriously great... But don't respond to him, ok? Just making sure you know your boundaries. :)
